12 Places To Visit In Adelaide That Will Make You Fall In Love With The City
"The wildlife never fails to amaze us and zoos and wildlife parks are a great way of witnessing the animal kingdom first hand. The best part about the Cleland Wildlife Park is that the animals here do not live in caged enclosures. Instead, they are enclosed in such a way that they don’t feel caged and are in their natural environment."

"You could spend all day at Cleland Wildlife Park, but don’t miss the afternoon keeper presentations. Hear interesting talks on dingoes and Tasmanian devils at 2:30 pm and 3:00 pm before feeding time. I’ve also been there on a Friday afternoon and have seen koalas being weighed, which was too cute for words!"

"For wildlife spotting, city views and heart rate-raising hikes, head for Cleland Conservation Park. Flanking the eastern foothills of the city and marking the start of the Adelaide Hills, here a network of walking trails weaving through bushland are teeming with wildlife, including the popular Waterfall Gully to Mount Lofty hike and a section of the Heysen Trail. To hike without another soul in sight, choose one of the lesser known surrounding 11 trails and traverse through dense bushland, up challenging inclines, by waterfalls and past sites of historical and cultural importance as you spot koalas, kangaroos and birdlife."

"A post shared by ClelandWildlifePark (@clelandwildlifepark) on Jan 6, 2019 at 1:32pm PST. Having visited many wildlife parks over the years, we decided to leave Cleland Wildlife Park off our list and were then berated by friends for doing so!. The park has been running since 1967 and provides an immersive nature experience for visitors who can connect with animals in their natural environment."

"There’s nothing like a long walk by the sea to soothe the soul, and Hallett Cove Conservation Park offers breathtaking coastal views along the 2km hike. In just under an hour’s drive from the city, meander along coastal clifftops with a fresh ocean breeze in your face before stopping for a snap at the insta-worthy Sugarloaf formation. Once the site of a glacial lake which melted some 270 million years ago, Hallett Cove Conservation Park is renowned as one of Australia’s most important geological and archaeological sites."

The best zoos and wildlife parks to visit in and near Adelaide
"Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary is another Adelaide institution and it is one of the zoos and wildlife parks in and near Adelaide that is definitely worth considering. Dr John Wamsley started Warrawong in 1969, constructing fences to protect the native animals from feral cats and foxes and create a sanctuary for them. The Sanctuary was closed for a number of years (there were problems getting insurance for the site), before being purchased recently by a couple who are trying to restore it to its former glory."

10 Chinese Restaurants Adelaide Locals Love
"As the name suggests, Little Canton is mostly about Cantonese food, even though there’s a smattering of Szechuan and other regions. From the a la carte menu, choose crispy skinned chicken with ginger and shallots, king prawns with vermicelli hot pot and green beans with garlic and chilli – all delicious. But, really, it’s the daily yum cha that’s all the rage: irresistible dumplings, soft meaty pork buns, textural deep fried squid tentacles and much more."
