Must See Sights and Landmarks in Blue Mountains Area

"One of the most famous landmarks in the Blue Mountains is the Three Sisters, an unusual rock formation towering high above the Jamison Valley. Standing over 900 metres tall, the Three Sisters is a spectacular sight and offers some beautiful and intense walking tracks. There is one trail ‘The Giant Stairway’ that takes you up close to the Three Sisters mountains and then down to the valley floor via more than 800 steps."

"Overlooking the gigantic Megalong Valley, Cahills’s Lookout is one of the most impressive lookouts in the Blue Mountains, but without the big tourist crowds. Quietly tucked away along the westernmost point of Cliff Drive, the lookout offers breathtaking views of the valley, Megalong Head, Boars Head Rock and the Narrow Neck Peninsula. Unlike other popular lookouts in the area, such as Echo Point and Lincoln’s Rock that overlook the Jamison Valley, Cahills’s Lookout faces the Megalong Valley."

"Sublime Point Lookout is very popular at sunset; the views here are among the most scenic you will find in the Jamison Valley. About 100m or so from the car park you will find a couple of basic tables and a picnic shelter, but other facilities are minimal. This area is not fenced, so it’s probably not the best choice for families with younger children."
